Copycat Chic-Fil-A nugget recipe
Have you eaten at a Chic-Fil-A restaurant before? Depending on where you live, you may not know what I’m talking about.
But if you are familiar, you probably are a fan like we are!
We don’t always go out to eat and we usually don’t eat fast food.
But my kids always ask to go to Chic-Fil-A when we ask them where they would like to go.
This is our favorite fast food chain to eat at.
If you love those signature nuggets, my copycat recipe is one you need to try at home!
And it’s ‘my pleasure’ to share it with you today. Continue reading Copycat Chic-Fil-A, LKBE Fake-Fil-A
Super Green Smoothie
Did you jump on the “make smoothies at home” band wagon only to hate it?
Perhaps you jumped on the band wagon, loved it but your blender is now tucked away collecting dust.
Or maybe you aren’t sure you’re going to like a smoothie with vegetables in it.
Do any of these sound like you?
I jumped on that ‘make your own smoothies’ wagon a few years ago and love it! Actually my family loves drinking smoothies too and I typically make them every day.
This recipe is healthy but it actually taste delicious because I mask the taste of veggies with some fruit. Your kids might actually like it and drink it like my kids do.
Did you know one of my kids is a picky eater who doesn’t willingly eat vegetables unless I sneak it in their food? And trust me, I sneak in veggies any chance I get!
So I’m sharing my “Kid Approved” delicious tasting Super Green Smoothie with you.

I love to make and eat pancakes. I make heart-shaped pancakes for my kids. And my kids love to eat them!
We Heart Pancakes

NO Bake Chocolate Silk Mini Pies
Valentine’s Day is around the corner and I have a SUPER Easy 5 ingredient NO Bake Chocolate pie dessert to share with you.
My youngest child has started to plot my course of things to make for Valentine’s Day.
As in make anything heart-shaped from bacon, pancakes, pasta, marshmallows, cereal treats. If I can make it into the shape of a heart she wants it.
And I love doing it for this for my kids.
Do you want to know something about me?
I’ve never been a fan of Valentine’s Day. I’ve felt like it was so commercialized and nothing I did ever seemed to live up to the advertising.
So it became my least favorite holiday until… Continue reading NO BAKE Chocolate Silk Mini Pies
A Salad with fresh blue cheese crumbles and
Buffalo Chicken ‘Hold the Wings’
I cannot deny how much I love to eat Buffalo Chicken Wings. I enjoy them so much I could eat them weekly and not get sick of them.
You can bet if wings are on a menu of any restaurant we visit, we most definitely order them.
And if they are deliciously perfect, I’m happy to order more wings just for me to eat as my meal. To make a wing meal more complete, I order a small salad for that healthy balance.
In the past I’ve tinkered with some creative wing recipes in Little Kitchen. But no matter what crazy recipe I’ve come up with, I always make a traditional Buffalo Wing sauce.
If you’ve followed me here on my blog you know that I’m trying to keep myself accountable with my fitness goals for 2017.
I’m constantly aware of them as I’ve been at it for about 6 weeks. And I’m working hard to stay the course.
As much as I love wings, I can’t continue to eat fried or baked Buffalo Wings weekly without it sabotaging my realistic fitness goals I’ve set for myself.
Unless I came up with a creative way to eat more wings without actually eating wings.
I Found a New Way
I’ve tried the ground chicken or ground turkey buffalo bites. And those are good! I’ve got a recipe I can share here for those.
But I wanted to go a step further because I like wings (a lot!). And that’s when this recipe hit me on the forehead with a big “DUH!”

Nutella Surprise & Avocado Oil
I like chocolate, A Lot!
Do you like chocolate? I have to remind myself there are people who don’t enjoy eating chocolate as much as I do.
Even harder for me to imagine is there are people who don’t even have a sweet tooth. They only crave salty things and pass on desserts or sweet treats.
That is difficult for me to imagine because I do enjoy a sweet and salty combo. But I couldn’t imagine one over the other.
I’m not constantly eating chocolate and sweets. But when I crave sweets, I do think of chocolate…chocolate cake, chocolate candy, chocolate chip cookies, chocolate ice cream-all things chocolate.
Are you on #TeamChocolate or #TeamCandy?
